Luxembourg's Ministry of State has reported that Prime Minister Luc Frieden will pay a working visit to Dublin on Monday 2 September 2024.
At the invitation of Irish Prime Minister (Taoiseach) Simon Harris, Prime Minister Frieden will travel to Ireland on Monday as part of a working visit.
In Dublin, the Luxembourg Prime Minister will meet with his Irish counterpart to discuss key European and international issues. This meeting will be followed by a working lunch and a discussion with Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister (Tánaiste), Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Defence, Micheál Martin.
The Ministry of State recalled that the resident Embassy of Luxembourg in Dublin opened its doors in September 2022 and noted that this visit will aim to strengthen the "excellent" bilateral relations between Ireland and Luxembourg.
