Chronicle.lu, in collaboration with the British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL), is offering five pairs of tickets to readers to attend the Shorts Evening as part of the BIFFL 2023 - Autumn Edition at Ciné Utopia on Thursday 28 September 2023 at 18:00.

This year's festival is split into two editions: the Spring Edition and the Autumn Edition. The latter is taking place from 13 to 28 September 2023; in addition to the "core" festival (at the Cinémathèque), from 18 to 22 September 2023, several other screenings are taking place the week before and the week after (at Ciné Utopia).

The Shorts Evening will see the launch of the BIFFL Young Filmmaker Competition, followed by the screening of five short films: An Irish Goodbye (Northern Ireland; drama; 23 mins); The Red Suitcase (Luxembourg; drama; 18 mins); Movers and Shapers (Ireland; documentary; 10 mins); Nothing to Declare (Ireland; documentary; 30 mins); George Barton (England; drama; 16 mins). The evening will end with a reception hosted by the British Embassy in Luxembourg.
