The regional tourist office of the Luxembourg Moselle Region (ORT Région Moselle Luxembourgeoise) has announced that it is organising regional training courses for tourist guides.

The courses will take place over six months on different days and at different locations. The focus of this training programme is on topics such as nature, culture and viticulture. Other topics such as methodology and didactics while on a guided tour will also be covered.

The language of the courses is mainly Luxembourgish, but some courses will also be held in German, French or English.

The theoretical exam will take place on 26 March 2024. The practical exam will then take place in April 2024.

The participation fee for the entire programme is €180 per person, including catering (consisting of lunch or a snack and water) for full-day modules.

Other interested parties can register for individual modules, although they will not receive the tourist guide certification. In this case, the participation fees are €15 per person per module without catering or €25 per person per module with catering.

Further information about the programme and a registration form are available in the "What’s on?" section at https://www.visitmoselle.lu/. The deadline to register is Wednesday 8 November 2023. Further details are also available via email: info@visitmoselle.lu
