A BBQ, bar, games and music are being organised throughout the day.

Format

Depending on the exact number of teams participating, the event is normally split into two or three sections/leagues, so that in the afternoon everyone can play against other teams of roughly the same standard. Changing facilities are available on site.

Background

The Kick Cancer into Touch (KCIT) fundraising event had its first run-out in 2001 as a tribute to former rugby player Tim Shepard, who lost his battle with cancer. Last year (2022), 60 players in eight teams participated, with KCIT raising €2,000 for local hospice Haus Omega, located in Luxembourg-Hamm.
