Mondorf Domaine Thermal has announced it will organise the second Mondorf Run with the support of Spiridon 08 Lëtzebuerg; the run will be held on Thursday 9 May 2024 in Mondorf-les-Bains.
The departure and arrival will take place at the thermal park. The 5 and 10-km courses will take runners through Mondorf-les-Bains as well as Burmerange. Children will also have their own race, exclusively on the paths of the thermal park. The Mondorf-les-Bains thermal park is an integral part of the wellness centre in Mondorf-les-Bains, Luxembourg, spanning more than 42 hectares. The park features floral arrangements, sculptures and century-old trees, making it a pleasant place to relax and rejuvenate and a beautiful spot for a run.
The day will start at 09:00 with the collection of bibs. The children’s race will start at 10:30, while the runners' warm-up will take place at 10:45 before the 5km and 10km race start. Fresh fruit offered by Grosbusch will be available for the 10 km course runners. The prize presentation will follow at 12:30.
Parking will be free on-site for the duration of the day (public holiday). Race T-shirts will be available on pre-sale and on-site sale. Changing rooms and showers will be made available, as well as snacks and catering on the terrace at the foot of the starting line.
Beginners can participate in the gradual training fitness programmes organised for this occasion. There will be two sessions per week available, as follows:
• every Tuesday at 18:45, Interval Training;
• every Thursday at 19:30, Run Training - from Thursday 4 April to Thursday 2 May 2024.
