The Grand Ducal Police have reported they arrested two suspects following several thefts and a burglary that took place in Mertert.
During the morning of Friday 26 April 2024, several thefts from vehicles were reported in Mertert, in addition to a burglary during which the perpetrator was chased away by the resident of the house in question.
Two suspects were apprehended by a police patrol following an ensuing manhunt. They were found to have stolen goods during the aforementioned burglaries.
By order of the public prosecutor's office, the two suspects were arrested and brought before the examining magistrate on Friday afternoon.
