The Light Leaks Festival is returning to Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 May 2024, preceded by a street photography workshop on Sunday 5 May 2024.

Organised by the Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective in collaboration with Rotondes, the Light Leaks Festival celebrates the visions of documentary and street photographers emphasising their perspectives on reality woven into their own personal narrative.

This eighth edition's international guest speakers are Bieke Depoorter (Belgium), Michael Ackerman (born in Israel, raised in US) and Nikita Teryoshin (raised in Russia and Germany). Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in talks led by these renowned photographers.

The festival also features an exhibition of more than 20 Luxembourg photographers, an Open Wall, a Bazaar and various workshops. This year's outdoors exhibition will feature Nikita Teryoshin's work "Nothing Personal", which "shows the back office of war, which is the complete opposite of a battlefield: an oversized playground for adults with wine, finger foods and shiny weapons".

The exhibition is open to all, free of charge, during the opening hours of the festival.
