Details: Luxembourg's Cluster for Logistics has revealed a series of events for 2017.
Logistics is one of the sectors that Luxembourg aims to develop within the framework of its economic development policy and therefore encourages all initiatives that strengthen Luxembourg’s position as intercontinental logistics hub in Europe. The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg Asbl fits perfectly into the Government’s logistics action plan.
To reach these objectives, the Cluster has federated all institutional actors and private enterprises around different axes of competence. The Cluster does not only focus on logistics companies but also welcomes enterprises making use of logistics services.
2017 events being held in the first 6 months:
- 23 jan 2017: Teachers meet Businesses: CFL mm in Bettembourg
Teachers interested in Logistics will visit the CFL multimodal Terminal of Bettembourg and receive a good overview of logistics activities, which they can share with students. This initiative, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, helps to spread awareness of education possibilities.
- 13 Feb 2017: Premium Members Dinner
In order to show appreciation to our loyal Premium Members, the Cluster organises a Dinner at a restaurant to be determined. The Board is elected from Premium members and the good collaboration between the members and the Cluster is a key to success.
- 9 - 12 May 2017: Transportlogistic Munich
The Cluster will participate again at the largest European logistics fair, held every two years in Munich. It is part of the national booth organised by the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce. More than 55,000 visitors and 2,050 exhibitors showcased the world of logistics in 2015.
- 27 Apr 2017: Supply Chain Day 2017
Luxembourg companies are invited to open their doors again to the public. Organised by the BVL, this day allows companies to show their activities and their impact on Luxembourg’s economy. The 2017 edition will mark the fourth participation of Luxembourg in this event.
- 30 May 2017: Logistics Spring Conference 2017
The 2017 Spring conference will be dedicated to the enlarged Bettembourg Hub, which marks an important milestone for the logistics sector. High level speakers from various countries will present their views on multimodal transport.
- 1 Jun 2017: ELA Awards
The C4L is one of 31 members of the European logistics association, who have a yearly European award of the Professional of the year and the prestigious European Logistics award of the year. The C4L is entitled to propose national champions for this European award.
