Details: The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) is organising a VAT Evening Business Forum on Wednesday 25 February 2015 at 18.00 at the DoubleTree by Hilton (12 Rue Jean Engling, L-1466 Luxembourg-Dommeldange).

David Arendt, Managing Director of the Freeport, Daniel Liebermann, Director of Logistics at the Ministry of Economy and Karine Bellony, Founding Partner at VAT Solutions, will speak on the subject “VAT in Luxembourg – 2015 Update and Opportunities”.

Mr Arendt will present the Freeport and its Indirect Tax aspects and Mr Liebermann will provide practical input for Indirect Tax opportunities for the logistics sector.

Ms Bellony will present the main VAT changes starting 1 January 2015 and global trends and new VAT opportunities, including:

•New VAT rules applicable from 1 January 2015 in Luxembourg, including e-commerce, Mini One Stop Shop (MOSS), refund requests by Luxembourg taxpayers, etc.

•Key features of the VAT “suspensive” regime and the Draft Law no. 6713

•Main VAT rules for international transactions and opportunities for Luxembourg.

This will be followed by a panel discussion during which the speakers will be happy to answer questions from the audience.

The evening will begin at 18:00 with registration. To close the evening a buffet dinner will be provided and, as always, the opportunity to meet and discuss with fellow Chamber Members. The event should end around 21:00.
