The American Women's Club of Luxembourg (AWCL) has announced its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), which will take place on Saturday 4 July 2026 at the Alfa Marriott in Luxembourg-Gare.
The meeting will start at 10:00 and will mark what the organisation described as “an important moment in its history”. Members will review the past year, discuss achievements and challenges from recent years and welcome new board members. The event will also recognise departing board members for their service and contribution to the organisation.
Founded in 1959, the AWCL has served as a community for American and international residents in Luxembourg for more than six decades, aiming to promote cultural exchange, volunteer work and charitable engagement.
As the meeting coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States (US), participants will conclude the event with a commemorative toast marking the occasion.
The AWCL said it will announce a guest speaker and additional programme details in the coming weeks.
