St George’s International School will be hosting an Information Evening for students and their families on Thursday 15 March 2018 from 18:00 – 19:30pm at the school in Luxembourg-Hamm. 

The evening is for students aged 13 and 14 who want to learn more about the Higher Secondary curriculum leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). Attendees will be able to ask questions about the subjects available for study and about the exams at the end of the two-year course, which encompasses Years 10 and 11 of Secondary education based on the English school system. Students currently attending other Secondary schools in Luxembourg and the surrounding countries are very welcome to attend.

St George’s is an independent, not-for-profit school located in Luxembourg-Hamm that emphasises learning according to individual needs. Over 250 students currently attend its Secondary school. Classes are held in English and students who successfully complete the IGCSE programme move on to take A-level qualifications, which are accepted for admittance to universities all over the world. The School is an accredited examination centre for Cambridge International Examinations, AQA and for Edexcel.

For those who are interested in the curriculum for other age groups, St George’s will also be hosting a Key Stage 5 Information Evening on Thursday 8 March 2018 for students aged 15 and 16 who are interested in learning more about the St George’s pre-university curriculum. There will also be an Open morning for all secondary students on Thursday 22 March 2018. 1st Tour and Talk: 09:00 – 10:15; 2nd Tour and Talk: 11:00 – 12:15.

These events are free of charge and will be conducted in English for all those who are interested in attending.
