Details:
The Etudes et Carrières (Study and Careers) event is being held on Tuesday 30 January 2018 at the Chambre de Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 10:00 - 17:00.
A total of 40 organisations (companies, universities, colleges) will be present throughout the event, and information sessions on Parcoursup, the new registration platform for French higher education, will be held between 11:00 and 14:00.
The event is an orientation forum and for integration into the professional ranks; it is aimed at secondary school students wishing to learn about studies and trades, as well as students and recent graduates looking for an internship or a first job.
The "Studies and Careers" Fair is divided into three open meeting spaces:
- a "Studies" area: French universities and grandes écoles, as well as Luxembourgish institutions, provide information on courses, etc.
- a "Careers" area: companies based in Luxembourg provide information on trades and offer internships and jobs.
- a "Conferences" area: specialists in higher education in France and Luxembourg share their knowledge and expertise.
