As of this month, Luxair Luxembourg airlines is offering direct flights between the German cities of Saarbrücken and Berlin.

Since 1 January 2018, Luxair Luxembourg Airlines has been operating a direct connection from Saarbrücken to Berlin.

With three daily flights and 18 weekly rotations, the German capital is once more well served from Saarbrücken Airport with a Bombardier CRJ700 type aircraft with a capacity of 70 seats.

Today, on Monday 8 January, State Secretary Jürgen Barke and the Honorary Consul of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Leo Petry, together with the representatives of Saarbrücken Airport and Luxair Luxembourg Airlines, officially celebrated the opening of this route.

The four crew members were greeted with a gift and the passengers were offered a breakfast at the boarding gate of their flight to Berlin.
