In order to promote intercommunity exchange and to guarantee a human welcome and personal contact with newcomers, the Ville de Luxembourg, in collaboration with Just Arrived Ambassadors Club (JAAClub), offers free monthly integration meetings.
Lasting approximately two hours, these meetings will take place in three cultural institutions of the City - Lëtzebuerg City Museum, Villa Vauban, Cinémathèque - and will consist of a visit of the venue, a presentation of the JAA Club, ambassadors and projects realised and intercultural games facilitating contact between the people present.
The next meeting will take place on Thursday 16 November 2017 at 12:00 at the Cinémathèque of the City of Luxembourg (17, Place du Théâtre). During this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to:
• watch the short film "One Week" starring Buster Keaton
• discover the Cinémathèque, its role and its oprtation
• interact with JAA Club ambassadors through non-verbal communication games guided by Sara Coggiola, JAA Ambassador, Life CoActive Coach and cross cultural trainer

The Ville de Luxembourg and the Just Arrived Ambassadors Club (JAAClub ASBL), provides a joint weekly support service for new residents in Luxembourg.
As from the 26 September 2017 the newcomers welcome desk will be held every Tuesday from 08:30 to 11:00 (except from school holidays) in the Integration and Special Needs Service offices of the City of Luxembourg (City Hall, 42 Place Guillaume II, entrance next to the Knuedler parking).
The purpose of the support service is to facilitate the installation and integration of new residents in Luxembourg City. The JAAClub ambassadors, backed up by the employees of the Integration and Special Needs service, will guide newcomers in finding information, useful tips to get their benchmarks in the new surroundings.
The ambassador is a Luxembourgish resident, with foreign origins, willing to share her/his integration experience with recently-arrived people and to provide a human support in the settling down process.
Starting in October 2017, the Ville de Luxembourg, in collaboration with the JAAClub, proposes free monthly integration events for newcomers to promote a human intercultural exchange and contact between citizens.
These two-hour meetings will take place in three cultural institutions of the City (Lëtzebuerg City Museum, Villa Vauban, Cinémathèque) and will consist of a 30-minute tour of the venue, a presentation of the joint actions carried out by the Ville de Luxembourg and the JAA Club, a networking session driven by intercultural games.
The overall objective is to facilitate the encounters, the outreach to the local intercultural community and ultimately the creation of a personal support network for the newcomer.
