A strong British swimming team is set to participate at the 20th Euro Meet, taking place from 26-28 January 2018 in Luxembourg.

The upcoming season will be an important one for the British swimmers with events such as the Commonwealth Games and the European Championships on the horizon. Australia’s Gold Coast will welcome the Commonwealth Games on 5-10 April 2018, whilst Glasgow awaits the European swimmers on 3-9 August 2018.

Adam Peaty and teammates are eager to impress early on in the season so as to be in top form in April. Next to Peaty, the Euro Meet welcomes Ben Proud (2017 world champion 50m butterfly), James Guy (2015 world champion 200m freestyle), Ross Murdoch (2016 European champion 200m breaststroke), Duncan Scott and Stephen Milne (2017 world champions 4x200m freestyle) and Chris Walker-Hebborn (olympic and world silver medallist 4x100m medley).

On the women’s side, the team is led by Hanna Miley (twice Commonwealth Games champion at the 400m medley) and Jazz Carlin (twice Olympic silver medallist 2016 400/800m freestyle). They will be joined by Georgia Davies (2014 Commonwealth Games champion 50m backstroke), Aimee Willmott (European silver medallist 2014 at the 200m medley), Molly Renshaw (200m breaststroke short course world champion 2016) and Kathleen Dawson (European bronze medallist 100m backstroke 2016).
