CK S.A. has announced the takeover of its CK Image activities by Lecuit, a Luxembourg company specialising in photography, FineArt printing, studio equipment, microscopy and observation.
The takeover will take effect from 15 March 2023 and it will enable Lecuit, which will also celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, to strengthen its position on the market in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
CK Image is recognised for its expertise in the sale of photographic equipment and optical equipment. This takeover has been carefully considered and aims to ensure the continuity of CK Image's activities and to perpetuate the company's ideology under new management. According to the statement issued by CK S.A., Lecuit and CK Image share their values and their commitment to their customers and partners, which will help guarantee the quality of the products and services offered.
David Gray, General Manager/Partner at CK, stated: "It's obviously a small page that is turning in the history of CK, it will remain the historical activity of the company, however this activity was no longer in phase with the development of the group's activities".
Laure Elsen, Managing Director at CK, said: “We therefore had to find a constructive follow-up to be given and, after various research and numerous discussions, we believe we have found the right partner in the Luxembourg market who will ensure that this activity as well as the customers of CK Image are in good hands. We would like to reassure our customers and our partners: this recovery will in no way affect the quality of the services offered, quite the contrary. Lecuit will continue to offer the same products and services in a permanent quest for professionalism closer to the customer".
