In their first game of the Rugby Europe Conference 2 North, Luxembourg started their campaign with a gritty 18-3 win away to Denmark on Saturday, in Odense.

Having experienced demotion from Rugby Europe's Conference 1 North in May this year, the Red Lions were determined to bounce back to winning ways.

And so they did, with Maxime Dozin and William Browne scoring tries.

With the scoreboard unused in the first half an hour, the game sprang to life in the 31sr minute with Bjerrum kicking the home side ahead on 31 minutes. Maxime Dozin, however, touched down for the visitors' first try just four minutes later. While William Browne missed the conversion, he made up for it by kicking a penalty with the last touch of the first half, with Luxembourg leading 3-8 at the interval.

On 66 minutes, full-back Gauthier Bares slotted home another penalty, before William Browne touched down at the death, with Gauthier Bares adding the conversion.

Final score: Denmark 3 : 18 Luxembourg.
