Scarlet Anger;

Scarlet Anger, a Luxembourg Thrash Metal group formed in 2007 by vocalist Joe Block and guitarist Fred Molitor, has been busy; 2017 marks an important turning point for the group that has celebrated its 10th anniversary and has just announced a new drummer: Rod Sovilla.

Their first EP "La realidad es triste", which was launched the same year, will open the doors of concert halls and Luxembourg festivals including Wacken Open Air Metal Battle in 2010 and the Food For Your Senses. They were quickly noticed on the Luxembourg stage and they played as warm-up in concerts by Primal Fear and Channel Zero.

This success was confirmed during the appearance in March 2011 of their second EP, "Kill the King", which was widely praised by critics. With this success, the combo which plays fast and heavy thrash-metal, has used this EP as a business card for music labels. In 2012, it was the label Dust On The Tracks which took the Luxembourg group under its wing for the release of their album "Dark Reign".

Between the various concerts, Scarlet Anger quickly began to search for the inspiration for the opus "Freak Show", released under the label Hänsel & Gretel / MIG Music on 18 March 2016. Finally, it was the comics and classic horror stories from the 80s and 90s that will provide them with the ideal concept of their new album. Mastered by Jens Borgen (who worked especially with Opeth, Katatonia, Soilwork, James LaBrie, God Forbid, Kreator, Devin Townsend, Ihsahn, Dark Tranquility, Paradise Lost, Amon Amarth, Dragonforce, Ocean, Haken, Rotting Christ, Symphony X, Myrath ...) the new album has a much more melodic approach.

A number of new gigs will be announced shortly.
