Flying Orkestar;

Cooperations asbl in Wiltz - the organisers of the Wiltz Festival - has announced that it is organising three events over the coming weeks at the Prabbeli, the regional socio-cultural centre in Wiltz.

- Sat 4 November 2017 @ 20:00: Klein:

In this new project, Jérôme Klein works on an array of contrasts in a minimalist setting, slipping into a misty mood of melancholy and dark tones. In this almost pure setting, his music surprises with loud splinters of light, explosion of energy and even frenetic extasy when the musicians let their passion take over. Although he has given many hints, Jerome Klein will keep the surprise for his live performance.

Rhodes, Piano, Keyboards - Jerome Klein; Vibraphone, Bass - Pol Belardi; Drums - Niels Engel

Tickets €12 (U26 €6) from email: info@cooperations.lu or tel. 959205-1

- Sat 11 November 2017 @ 20:00: Poetry Slam de Lux:

The Poetry Slam de Lux marks its return. Young talents from the national and international slam scene will recite their texts on the occasion of this eighth edition, during two evenings at the Rotondes in Luxembourg-city and at the Prabbeli Centre in Wiltz.

Jugglers of words, sometimes accompanied by instruments, sometimes not, the invited artists will produce on stage the best of the current slam in a delightful mixture of words and sounds, for a poetic emulation going far beyond the borders. This year the Geisskan Kollektiv will be the first part with the cream of the crop of the local scene. An invitation to discover the wonderful world of local slam poetry.

Tickets €10 (U26 €5) from email: info@cooperations.lu or tel. 959205-1

- Sat 18 November 2017 @ 20:00: Flying Orkestar:

It was in 2008 that Flying Orkestar left its native Boukravie to win the lands of the West, driven by an irresistible need elsewhere and a furious desire to spread Balkan and festive music. Freshly landed in France, the musicians guided by the charismatic Boran soon recorded a first album, Bling Bling (Eben Productions / Absilone) published in 2009, which was to be the cornerstone of a building that will never stop developing. What's more natural for a group whose first album remained the number one in the Boukravie charts for 2 years ... Flying Orkestar offers a musical, festive and humourous show in the image of the album that will cross Europe, from Luxembourg to Slovenia via Belgium and Germany. During this tour they want to record a live album which will be unveiled first in the form of a single at the end of January 2013, then in its final form in March 2013: 11 hot and explosive titles that will plunge the listener in the unforgettable atmosphere of a Flying Orkestar show.
