For its fifth edition to be held on 5 May 2017, again at the Rockhal, Rock Against Cancer will explore the universe of Rock from the 50s to today.

This year, the charity concert will be headlined by one of Belgium’s major cover bands, Mister Cover. Since 2002, the band has got thousands of people singing and dancing to their pop, rock and soul sounds which cover the last seven decades.

The Luxembourgish band Zero Point Five, who also attended the 2015 edition, will bring the evening to life with their acoustic rock compositions. This is the opportunity to discover the first tracks from their new album that will be released soon.

Finally, DJ Deniz Labong will rock the party and get the audience dancing from dusk till dawn.

Rock Against Cancer was initiated in 2013 by employees of Swiss Life in Luxembourg in order to raise funds for two foundations fighting against cancer: Fondation Cancer Luxembourg and Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner.

The success of the first edition was rewarded with the “Trophée de l’Espoir”. Since then, every year, the event has grown in popularity, having raised more than €80,000, donated to the two foundations.

This year's event will begin at 20:30, with doors opening at 20:00, at the Rockhal.

Tickets cost €20 for presale or €25 at the door
