On Saturday 5 May 2018, St George’s International School in Luxembourg is hosting its first Early Years Foundation Stage Conference.

The school will be joined by Early Excellence, an established national leader of pedagogy, provision and practice, specialising in young children’s education. Experienced keynote speakers Ruth Swailes and Fiona Carter from Early Excellence will be presenting and discussing how leadership and practise in the Early Years can provoke and motivate learning. Both speakers will draw on first hand, UK and International experiences to inform, inspire and support the self-evaluation of current provision.

Delegates will then have a choice of the following four workshops:
- Using a Book Based Approach to Enhance Play within the Continuous Provision (delivered by Jo Kekki & Ludmilla Pillay, St George’s)
- Creative Approaches to Learning through Role Play (delivered by Becky Dixon & Ben Thompson, St George’s)
- Rethinking Transition from Reception to Year 1 (delivered by Ruth Swailes, Early Excellence)
- Developing Real Outdoor Play  (delivered by Fiona Carter, Early Excellence)
