Today, Wednesday 18 November 2015, Sunflower Montessori is holding an Open Door event from 17:30 at its new Crèche in Ersange (15 Route de Remich, L-5423 Ersange) which opened on 4 October; parents, children and local residents are all expected to attend.

Earlier in the day, The Luxembourg Chronicle got the opportunity to view the new premises comprising two separate but inter-connected buildings. The existing building was completely renovated to house the Administration for the 5 crèches in the ever-expanding group; and the completely new building has a capacity for 30 young children. With this, the Sunflower Montessori has now reached the milestone of having a capacity of over 300 children.

Although the location of the new crèche is on the main road through the village, once inside the secure gates, it is a world away, with fully equipped brand new facilities; also, the playground behind the building overlooks fields and trees, a most relaxing and eco-friendly environment.

Tom O'Dea, Managing Director at Sunflower Montessori, stressed that as the building is completely new it has been built according to the new law governing crèches in Luxembourg and therefore is "top notch" in terms of security and safety for the children. He also explained that Sunflower Montessori is a family-owned and run Luxembourg-based company, ensuring that the childrens' needs are addressed from the very top.

Registration for places is already underway with some children already enrolled and attending, with others down to commence in December and in January, with just a few places remaining. See www.sunflower.lu for details.
