Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel today received the President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid for an interview at the Hotel de Bourgogne.
Among other things, the visit of the Estonian president made it possible, in line with previous interviews, to affirm the desire to deepen cooperation in the field of ICT between Luxembourg and Estonia.
In June 2017, Xavier Bettel and the Estonian Prime Minister, Juri Ratas, signed an agreement for the installation of a digital embassy from Estonia to Luxembourg. The technical management contract of the digital embassy was also presented today.
Kersti Kaljulaid has worked for many years in Luxembourg and will also attend the 40th anniversary celebrations of the Court of Auditors of the European Union.
