Peter Murphy and Augustin Géré represented Luxembourg in the second short track World Cup in Dordrecht, the Netherlands this past weekend.

This last weekend saw Peter Murphy and Augustin Géré compete in behalf of Luxembourg in the short track 2nd World Cup.

The results were similar to those in Budapest, with both boys skating well but not quite good enough to make it out of the first rounds. The highlight of the weekend was Augustin placing higher than the Belgian champion in the 500m heat, setting a new national record, and finishing 0.1s off a qualifying position.

In the other races, Peter came 54 out of 89 competitors in the 500m, 68 out of 89 in the 1000m and 89th in the 1500m. Meanwhile, Augustin came 48th, 89th and 71st respectively.
