Luxembourg's National Roads Administration has announced that the test phase of the fixed speed camera at the entrance to the Micheville tunnel will end on Monday 16 October 2023.

Following a test period that began on 1 September 2023, the fixed speed camera installed on the B40 road (at the entrance to the Micheville tunnel) will be fully operational ("repressive" phase) from Monday. The maximum authorised speed is 70 km/h, for traffic travelling between France and Luxembourg.

A tolerance of 3 km/h will apply to motorists travelling at less than 100 km/h; a tolerance of 3% will apply to speeds exceeding 100 km/h.
