Sales-Lentz has taken delivery of six electric Smart cars at its Bascharage depot; these cars will be assigned to the depots of Bascharage and Esch-Belval.
Through Sven Massard, Smart Luxembourg has officially awarded the 2 Smart ForTwo and the 4 Smart ForFour to the General Manager of Sales-Lentz Technical Transport, Georges Hilbert. The vehicles will now be able to be used for transporting drivers to / from different terminals, at the beginning, at the end and during the breaks of their respective routes.
On average 270 trips per day are made for driver changeovers and, as a result, this vehicle acquisition is expected to have a real impact on reducing the carbon footprint. These 100% electric cars are therefore also 100% integrated into the company's operational activities.
Sales-Lentz is continuing to strengthen its fleet by focusing on zero-emission electric vehicles and underlines its desire to gradually become a climate-neutral company.
After 4 electric Diffbus, 2 Bluebus City Shopping electric buses and a number of electric cars, it is now the turn of the drivers of Sales-Lentz to be routed to their bus and place of work without noise and in the greatest respect of the environment.
