Roadworks Underway on A6 between Mamer and Steinfort Interchanges

Roadworks are planned for later this evening on the A6 between the Mamer interchange and Steinfort interchange.

The Motorway Administration will work with CREOS on a site related to the dismantling of high-voltage cables on the A6 motorway during the night of Wednesday 30 August 2017 from 22:00-00:00 between the Steinfort and Mamer interchanges.

This evening during the above times, the following closures will be in place: the A6 motorway between the Steinfort and Mamer interchanges in both directions; the access ramp of the Mamer interchange from the N6 and towards Arlon via the A6; the access ramp of the Steinfort interchange coming from the N13 and towards the Cessange interchange via the A6; access to the Capellen area in both directions; the exit of the Cappellen area from the Q8 petrol station and in the direction of the Steinfort interchange.

In addition, traffic on the A6 motorway is diverted between the Steinfort and Mamer interchanges via the N6 and N13.

The preparatory work necessary to close the motorway will be carried out a few hours beforehand, so traffic disruptions are expected in the late afternoon.
