Languages.lu has received authorisation from Luxembourg's Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth that their Luxembourgish language classes will from now on be certified for those applying for Luxembourgish nationality (this applies to people who have been living in Luxembourg more than 20 years).

As a result of the law of 8 March 2017 on the Luxembourg nationality, the procedure to obtain Luxembourgish nationality is now simplified for residents living for minimum of 20 years in Luxembourg. Indeed, it is now sufficient to provide a certificate attesting that the individual has followed 24 hours of Luxembourgish language classes in order to be naturalised.

In this vein, Languages.lu has been added to the authorised providers of such language courses approved by the Ministry of National Education and is now authorised to issue this certificate.

Languages.lu specialises in tailor-made, private courses that are flexible and adapt to the availability and the frequency desired by its customers.
