Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel personally congratulated the national ice hockey team yesterday after they were crowned third division world champions at the championships in Bulgaria last April.
Congratulating the team, the prime minister said he considers them to be ambassadors for Luxembourg. "You are actively contributing to the promotion of an excellent image of Luxembourg abroad and you are actively participating in the nation branding." he said: "Luxembourg is proud of you and the title you have won."
