Luxembourg Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna will attend the Eurogroup and Ecofin meetings in Brussels next Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 February 2018.

Early next week, Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna will be travelling to Brussels to attend the upcoming meetings of the Eurogroup and the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (Ecofin).

The Eurogroup meeting, scheduled for 19 February, will focus on current European issues such as the economic status of Greece and Ireland, the debate concerning reform of the European Stability Mechanism, the banking union and the appointment of the new vice-president of the European Central Bank (ECB).

Meanwhile, the Ecofin meeting of 20 February will deal with the implementation of a global strategy for sustainable finance as well as the EU budget.
