Rock de Schleek Festival Returns to Machtum for 9th Time

The 9^th edition of the Rock de Schleek festival will be held on 18 August 2017 in Machtum.

The Union des Jeunes Machtum is organising this year’s Rock de Schleek festival, which will take place mid-August for the 9^th time in the village square "Schliikeplaz" in Machtum.

Following in the footsteps of past editions of the festival, the organisers have remained faithful to their concept for the 9^th edition, with exclusively Luxembourgish bands and other bands from the greater region offering visitors colourful musical performances.

This year’s Rock de Schleek will host the following bands: Ice In My Eyes, Trappers, Cosmogon, Mind Rebellion, Elysian Gates, Antifragile, Rat October, and Spy Kowlik. The festival will also have a stand for the fashion label "Nee so daat net".

Doors to the event open at 17:30 and entrance tickets cost €5 for a presale ticket, or with a Green Code or Axxess, or €8 on the evening at the box office.

The Rock of Schleek festival is organised as part of the festivities of the deutschluxemburgisches Weinhappening, taking place from 17-20 August in Machtum.
