As part of the Wiltz Festival 2017 which runs from 28 June to 23 July, the new-styled festival format this year included a performance entitled the Loser(s) Circus, an act from the Czech Republic.

Described beforehand as "Fantastic Nouveau Cirque, potentially addictive", the 8-strong troup mixes contemporary dance with acrobatics and hip-hop music. The start and end of the performance, however, features the star of the show performing a solo stand-up routine as a flight attendant in a parody of bringing the audience on a trip, in this case to Spain. He ability to mimic various sounds experience on board a flight, including the engines at take-off and the captain over the intercom, proved to be well received, particularly so when applying his lingusitic talents. Thereafter, he acted as the DJ back-stage while the dancers / abrobats took over the stage and delighted the audience with their skills and timing, with some comic moments too, in high-speed dance sections and impressive acrobatic feats.

This year's 65th edition of the Wiltz Festival has a new organising committee and artistic focus with a fresh outlook. Not only is the programme different, but the set-up on site has also changed, with the food and drinks section expanded and now situated at the far end of the stage area, meaning that the entrance has been freed up from people congregating and queuing for the auditorium and food and drink in the same place.
