The Gault & Millau BeLux 2018 guide was launched on Monday 23 October 2017 at the Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg-ville, covering 1,200 restaurants and brasseries throughout the two countries.

While the guide is being published online today, the hardcopy version will not be available until 14 November. In addition to the catergorisation of restaurants, in particular those new to the guide, which are always of interest to discerning diners, five special awards were announced, as follows:

After the announcements of the winners were over, the scoring system was announced (12-20 points result in a listing) across the various cuisine classifications, with mention of those restaurants in Luxembourg which have climbed in the 2018 rankings. A gala dinner was then held for those present.

Of all the restaurants listed, 90 are to be found within the Grand Duchy. The Gault & Millau BeLux 2018 guide will be on sale from 14 Novemer at €29.
