Following their disappointing start to the 2017 World Mixed Championship in Curling currently being held in Champéry (Switzerland), in losing their first five games, Team Luxembourg played their remaining two matches against Scotland on Wednesday and against New Zealand on Thursday.

Despite not winning either match, Team Luxembourg finished 35th out of 39 teams.

The team of Susi Benoy, Marc Husi, Karen Wauters and Alex Benoy were disappointed with their performances; however, they believe that next year they can be more competitive in a competition with the world's best teams.

The group stages are now over, with the knock-out stage of the competition involving the top 16 teams.
