The Luxembourg Government Information and Press Service has just reissued a new edition of its à propos... de l’histoire du Luxembourg brochure (“about... the history of Luxembourg”).

This revised and expanded edition of the brochure, which also has a new layout, fits into the à propos series intended to highlight a specific aspect of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The brochure briefly presents the evolution of Luxembourg from the 10th century to the present day, a country with a turbulent and rich history despite its small size. A timeline presents the key dates of Luxembourg's history, whilst placing them in an international context.

In addition, the addresses of the main museums and the bibliography at the end of this booklet should help the interested reader to delve deeper into one or another aspect of the topics covered in the publication.

The 28-page brochure is available in French, German and English.

Like other publications from the Government Information and Press Service, it can be consulted, downloaded and/or ordered on the portals www.gouvernement.lu and www.luxembourg.lu, under the heading "Publications". It can also be ordered directly at edition@sip.etat.lu.
