On Friday 20 October 2017, Microlux held a Creators' Market on rue Glesener in Luxembourg-Gare to celerate the 3rd European Microfinance Day.

This event aimed to show the face of microcredit in Luxembourg through portraits of several Microlux customers, showing the impact and the usefulness of microfinance in Luxembourg. As well as the Creators Market, speed coaching sessions were held for those who want to start their own business.

Eight micro-entrepreneurs showcased their products and services. The entrepreneurs came come from several fields of activity:

- Techno-Tick a smartphone and tablet repairer;

- African Diamond, a shop of African products;

- Domenico VTC a Passenger car with driver chauffeur service;

- Lux Cars a car salesman

- Arzé, a fair-trade grocery store

- Dance Factory, a school of dance.

For lunch, two restaurants that Microlux also funded, Pane & Pomodoro and Syriously!, proposed their Italian and Syrian specialties respectively.

The event also facilitated exchanges with the micro-entrepreneurs on their motivations to set up their companies, their progress and their challenges of every day. Following the Market, a few people also came to talk about their project.

Microlux deemed the day to be a real success with 100 people attending between 12:00 and 15:00, plus others who came to talk about their projects. Entrepreneurs were also delighted to participate in this Market as they were able to sell their products or advertise their services.
