The Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) has announced that it will be holding a Harvest Festival Celebration on Sunday 14 January 2017 from 12:00 - 17:00 at the Centre Culturel Beggen (26A Rue de Rochefort, L-2431 Luxembourg).
The event is open to all members, guests and friends to the first of many planned IAL events for 2018. Those attending are encouraged to dress themselves in authentic attires of a region they represent.
A harvest festival is an annual celebration that occurs around the time of the main harvest in the Indian sub-continent and goes along with many traditional celebrations, which the IAL would like to showcase through this event of "Harvest Festival Celebrations", naming Pongal, Baisakhi, MakarSakranti, Uttrayan and Sakranti, in the most traditional way feasible.

The event is a One-Dish Carry event; those attending are encouraged to carry one of their regional dish representing the event, enough for your family and some more.
The performances will include dancing, singing and playing musical instruments.
Entrance Fee: €5 Euros (IAL Adult Members); €10 (Non-Members): U15s free.
