As of 31 October 2017, Luxembourg has become the home of the newly created International Association of Chinese Story Telling and Story Singing Art (IASA).

Earlier this week marked the creation of the new non-profit organisation IASA in the Grand-Duchy. The association will promote traditional Chinese storytelling and singing (Shuo Chang Yi Shu) as well as bring together artists who practice this ancient art from around the world.

Jiang Kun, one of China’s most popular comedians, actively promoted the establishment of the association and was the guest of honor at the inaugural meeting. Likewise, the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg supported the launch event to promote cultural exchange between Luxembourg and China.

Global law firm Dentons will be supporting the IASA with pro bono legal assistance with Dr. Shaohui Zhang, Head of Dentons’ Luxembourg China Desk, having advised on the incorporation of the association. Zhang will serve as its legal counsel on an ongoing basis.
