Postlaf 2018 participants;
On Sunday, more than 2,200 runners participated in the Postlaf 2018 in aid of Caritas Luxembourg, supporting their projects.
Since 2007, POST Luxembourg, the "LAFEN" section of the Amicale POST Luxembourg and Caritas Luxembourg have been working together under the Postlaf banner for the "Sport and Solidarity" action. At the 2018 edition of the Postlaf, runners had the opportunity to help less privileged children to participate in a summer camp, a trip or a recreational activity. In fact, every child and every young person must have the right to go on vacation, to live the experience of a summer camp, to have fun with people of his/her age and to come back with a lot of memories, no matter what his/her parents' income and their origins.
As in previous years, the runners each contributed €2 towards Caritas Luxembourg. More than 200 participants also donated their rental chip after the race, leaving the €10 deposit as a donation.
Caritas Luxembourg was present with a team of 60 runners composed of personalities, supporters, refugees and collaborators.
