Sarah Kennedy was born and raised in Luxembourg to Irish parents and attended the Athénée. During her time there she particpipated in fundraising events; in 2015-2016 took part in the Athénée's Action Humanitaire Student Group to raise money for the Athénée's ONG. Throughout her teenage years she also volunteered annually at the Ireland Stand at the International Bazaar. And in 2014 she created a website to fundraise for Een Haerz fir Krribskrank Kanner while participating in BGL BNP Paribas' Lux Future Lab Summer School (see https://www.facebook.com/Chroniclelu/posts/567794913331818)

After she got her Bac in 2016, she moved to Dublin to attend university and there she found some initiatives in UCD to which she could contribute: she is a member of the Student Union subcommittee for International Students and is a volunteer at the UCD Student Legal Service Clinics.

Talking with Chronicle.lu, Sarah said "Now with 100minds I have started her most ambitious fundraising project, for which I hope to raise €100,000 with 99 other students with the support of 100minds' mentors by 15 February for Temple Street Children's University Hospital."
