On Thursday 12 October 2023, D'Filmakademie and Film Fund Luxembourg unveiled the nominees for this year's Luxembourg Film Award (Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis).

For this tenth edition, the nominations concern 40 productions divided into twelve award categories. The 400 members of d'Filmakademie will vote for eleven in order to designate the winners.

The "Best XR work" category will be submitted to the vote of a specialised jury composed of Françoise Poos, scientific and artistic director of the art technology science and society programme of the non-profit organisation frEsch, Toby Coffey, head of digital development at the National Theatre in London, and Ana Brzezińska, immersive curator at the Tribeca Festival.

The "Best Original Music" category has six nominees, two of whom tied for fifth place at the end of the first round. The second round will begin on Friday 13 October and end on Saturday 4 November 2023.

A special prize will also be awarded by the Association Luxembourgeoise de la Presse Cinématographique (ALPC).

The awards ceremony will take place at the Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg on Saturday 11 November 2023.
