The application process for the Export Award 2018 is open for Luxembourg SMEs wishing to participate in the contest until 15 April 2018.

The Export Award 2018 is an initiative launched by the Office du Ducroire and the Chamber of Commerce to reward Luxembourgish SMEs that have achieved sustainable growth through international business.

This year’s award ceremony will be held on 13 June in attendance of His Royal Highness the Hereditary Grand Duke, along with Pierre Gramegna, Minister of Finance, and Etienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy.

In addition to the trophy and the right to use the title "Winner of the Export Award 2018" on all documents and correspondence, the first three companies listed in the Export Award will be granted a prize equivalent to a value of €15,000 (1st prize), €10,000 (2nd prize) and €5,000 (3rd prize).

The first “Export Award" was awarded within the framework of the festivities of the Office du Ducroire’s 50th anniversary on the 2 December 2011. In connection with the 4th edition of the “Export Award”, the Chamber of Commerce and the Office du Ducroire of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (ODL), will hold the next celebration this June.

This award aims to stimulate business development and Luxembourg's economy by encouraging domestic SMEs to promote their goods and services to foreign markets.
