This autumn, Luxembourg social services organisation Yolande Coop will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

In autumn 2007, Yolande Coop opened the doors of its sheltered workshops, hiring employees with disabilities. The organisation is the manager of seven sheltered workshops at three sites in Betzdorf, Grevenmacher and Mondorf-les-Bains and currently employs over 70 people with mental disabilities.

The company has been offering disabled workers the opportunity to work, to earn a living and to achieve an independent life for the past decade and is active in a wide range of fields, such as the production and sale of baked goods (Atelier Boulangerie), events catering (Atelier Cuisine) and tourism on the Moselle as well as a tropical butterfly garden. Yolande Coop also produces soaps (Atelier Savonnerie), subcontracting and printing (Atelier Mailing & Services), linen treatment (Atelier Buanderie) and waste treatment (Workshop Recycling).

Yolande Coop attaches great importance to the quality of its products and services. Indeed, the quality of customer service is as important as adapting the work to the capacities of people with disabilities and their involvement in tasks in the workshops.

In honour of the work of the organisation’s employees, Yolande Coop will thank them for their contribution on 29 September 2017 at Caves Bernard Massard, as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.
