Remich, Grevenmacher, Luxembourg City;

The Luxembourg Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructures and CityLity have concluded a partnership to help users from the Moselle region stay better connected.

The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructures and the CityLity startup have joined forces in a partnership dedicated to providing a better experience to the Moselle user community.

In pursuit of the policy of continuous improvement and the digitisation of its services, CityLity has been made available to users of the public domain of the river and waterway with a personalised version of the CityLity application for the Moselle region.

The mobile application will enable all users to report geologically any incident on the waterway, such as water pollution or the degradation of a river infrastructure. The user has the possibility to upload the information, along with photos or other useful details with their smartphone in order to facilitate the resolution of the incident. Navigation officers are instantly notified and can react before the situation deteriorates to ensure optimum protection of the public river domain and river navigation equipment.

The CityLity community therefore also allows users of the application to offer mutual assistance and simple services for a better user experience along the Moselle. Additionally, the Navigation Service will be able to communicate with all users of the platform via short messages and to provide practical information through notifications.

Finally, CityLity users will also have at their disposal a range of urban functions on the Moselle and throughout the Grand Duchy. For instance, sailors and tourists will be able to locate tourist points, shops, restaurants, banks, accommodation and other services with the CityLity application, as well as eco-citizen points.
