During the festivities at the end of 2017, Luxembourg customs seized drugs from a 45-year-old man.

At the end of last year, customs officers of the anti-drug department of the Customs Administration managed to catch a Luxembourg-based 45-year-old man, who was on the way back from a drug-buying mission from Belgium to pick up just over one kilogram of marijuana.

By order of the prosecutor, a house search was conducted on the man which found another 100 grams of marijuana along with measuring utensils, a laptop, a tablet and mobile phones. The drugs and found items were confiscated.

The man was arrested by order of the prosecutor and presented to the examining magistrate. He is currently in custody.
