On Tuesday morning, a 26 year-old worker from Belgium died on a construction site in Clervaux.
The accident happened shortly after 08:00 at a construction site on Rue de la Gare in the town. The man was working on the second floor of the building and fell off a ladder down a shaft.
He did not survive the fall and was declared dead at the scene of the accident.
The public prosecutor has ordered a forensics examination to be carried out at the scene to determine the exact cause of the accident. They have also requested an autopsy be carried out.
