Pirate Productions will put on a concert performance of Harlem Hotel on Friday 23 March 2018 at the Centre Culturel Altrimenti (Centre Convict, 5 av Marie-Thérèse, L-2132 Luxembourg) at 20:00.
Celebrating the Best of 70s Jazz, Pirate Productions in Luxembourg put on this production previously in November 2016. Harlem Hotel is set in the late 1960s and constructed along the lines of the highly successful Jazz Club. The script then was devised through improvisation and the score was draw from classic Jazz, Funk and soul numbers from that period. The characters were the residents and staff of the hotel as well as frequent visitors to the lobby, kitchen and bar.
By popular request, Pirates are going to revive the songs used in that 2016 production. This will be a concert version of the songs with essentially the same singers and live band.
Tickets cost will be €5 and will be on sale from 1 February.
