The New World Theatre Club (NWTC) has announced that it will be performing Anton Chekhov’s play "The Seagull" at the Kulturhaus, Mersch, from Thursday 28 February to Sunday 3 March 2019, directed by John Brigg.
"The Seagull" has been described as:
- A perfect play, according to David Hare, the highly successful British playwright and adaptor.
- A comedy - according to Chekhov himself.
- A play about the deception of youth by those they look up to.
- A mould-breaking play of its time
Auditions will be geld during May/June 2018 (Please check the website www.nwtc.lu for exact dates); rehearsals will be from September 2018.
Cast: 8 male and 4 female roles, all great character parts, from 18 to 80
