On 17 January 2018, Deogratias Niyonkuru, an agricultural engineer from Burundi and member of SOS Faim, will present his book "Pour la dignité paysanne" at lunch-debate at CITIM (Centre d'Information Tiers Monde) from 12:30 to 14:00.
Guest speaker Deogratias Niyonkuru, who received the King Baudouin Prize for Development in Africa with its organisation ADISCO, will present his book in Luxembourg. According to Belgian legal scholar Olivier De Schutter: "Because it comes from the inside of the world he describes, this book fills a void. Farmers in general do not write… He makes us listen to them.”
On the occasion of the presentation of this book, SOS Faim will also be offering a free drink to attendees.
