Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of State Xavier Bettel, together with the Minister for Finance, Pierre Gramegna, will visit the World Economic Forum in Davos which is being held from Tuesday 23 to thursday 25 January 2018.

This year, the theme of the forum is "Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World".

The forum will allow the Luxembourg Prime Minister to meet economic, political and social decision-makers to promote the economic attractiveness of Luxembourg. A series of bilateral meetings are planned for this purpose with business leaders, representatives of civil society and policy makers. During the forum, PM Bettel will participate in a round table on "blended finance and innovation for better business better world", as well as a panel dedicated to the economy of space resources.

Meanwhile, Minister Gramegna, who will be attending the Forum for the first time, will hold bilateral meetings with several of his counterparts and business leaders to discuss topics of common interest. During these meetings, the focus will be on digitalisation of financial services, green finance and the circular economy.​
